Sea views, balconies and terraces: All rooms have a view of the Caribbean Sea with a balcony, terrace or patio.
Private baths with hot & cold water: Each room has a private bathroom with a shower. Hot and cold water are available; but most find a cold bath refreshing after a long day in the sun.
Small refrigerators: All rooms have a refrigerator for storage of your food items. Most guests find it convenient to purchase food goods from the local markets and eat their breakfast or lunch in the lobby area.
Air conditioning: A/C is available in all rooms. Please see the Rates & Availability page.
Ceiling fans: All rooms have ceiling fans except the lower level family units (which are equipped with floor fans.) Extra floor fans are available upon request; however, the sea breeze is quite strong and most guests find that air conditioning is not necessary during the high season.
Other Amenities
The Lobby & kitchen: The lobby area is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests are welcome to dine, play games and socialize in the lobby area. Plates, flatware & glasses are available from the kitchen for your use. Internet service is available in the lobby during opening hours.
The Palapa: The beach palapa is our guest's favorite spot on the hotel grounds.
Phone cards: BTL phone cards are available throughout the country. The Westwind Hotel has a public international phone, which can be accessed through the use of a BTL phone card.
