The Westwind Hotel offers simple accomodations in a peaceful, quiet setting with full or partial Caribbean Sea views. Fresh brewed coffee is offered every morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

We request that you submit your credit card information or forward a deposit. We accept Discover, Master Card, and Visa credit cards. All credit card payments are subject to a 5% service charge. We will not charge your credit card account until you have completed your stay or a cancellation is made. If you are paying via personal check, the balance amount (not deposit) must be received 6-8 weeks prior to your arrival. We also accept cash (American and Belizean) and traveler's check as payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you decide to cancel your stay the one night initial deposit for the guarantee of the room will be charged to your account. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival or without notification, the entire term of your reservation will be charged to your account.
How to Find Us
By Air: The fastest and easiest way to move around Belize is by plane. Two local charter services, Tropic Air and Maya Island Air, provide frequent flights throughout the country. Pt. Placencia Village's airstrip is within 2 1/2 miles of the Westwind Hotel with taxi cabs available for all incoming flights.
By Bus: The cheapest way to move throughout the country is by bus. Most busses offer regular schedules. The average travel time between Belize City and Pt. Placencia Village is four hours. Please note that these are not luxury buses; however they are the cheapest way to travel. The bus stop in Pt. Placencia Village is on the main road at the Shell gas station. It is about a 3-5 minute walk to the hotel, which is accessed off of the central sidewalk between the main road and the Caribbean Sea.
By Rental Car: A rental car offers you the most freedom; however, car rental and petrol are expensive in Belize. Rental cars can be parked on our private drive 300 feet behind the hotel on the left hand side as indicated by the parking signs.
